Delta Genesis Adhd Help For Kids

The Assessment

Our comprehensive, functional assessment will get to the root of why your child is struggling with anything from focus, behavior, or learning to sensory issues, sleep problems, or even emotional dysregulation.

The assessment is video-based and self-guided so you can do it at your own pace at a time that works best for your schedule.  You’ll learn so much about your child’s brain function and symptoms, which will help you understand them from a new perspective regarding parenting, education, and more.

Once you purchase your assessment, a Director with Delta Genesis will be assigned to you and will reach out ASAP to make sure you have all of the information you need before you get started.

They’ll also be available while you do your assessment to answer any questions or to provide any necessary modifications to the testing to fit your child’s needs.

That same director will schedule a Zoom meeting with you to talk about what you found in the assessment!

What you’ll test:

First, it’s important to understand that the brain controls everything we do. How we control our emotions, our ability to focus, the way food tastes, whether we think about things more logically or creatively, and even the way we sleep, digest food, and process sensory input begins with the brain.

All symptoms of neurodevelopmental disorders are a by-product of certain areas of the brain being under-connected or under-developed. For example, fidgeting is often caused by an under-developed sense called Proprioception, which is the brain’s connection to the body – our ability to feel our bodies and be aware of our fingers and toes and legs and arms. If we can’t feel our bodies appropriately, we start moving around or looking for touch to re-affirm to our brains that our bodies are, in fact, still connected and working properly.

We can make symptom-based connections like Proprioception -> fidgeting with any and all symptoms of neurodevelopmental disorders such as emotional dysregulation, overly-literal thinking, focus issues, learning problems, sensory sensitivities, sleep issues, social struggles, chewing on stuff all the time, distractibility, and so much more. This is why the results meeting is just as important as the assessment – a director will help you understand how the functional weaknesses you find during the assessment correlate with the symptoms your child is struggling with.

You can always call us to learn more about any testing or programs before committing to any of them at (314) 632-6286. A director would be more than happy to chat with you and answer any questions you have!
